Data & Analytics Product Owner

Business Support Area~Portfolio Analysis

We are looking for a Data and Analytics Product Owner to join our  Data Department.

You will help lead the creation of a cloud-based data platform that leverages machine learning to deliver unique insights through Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. You will work in a scrum based team executing the data and analytics product roadmap, writing User Stories, defining project success metrics and KPIs, following key agile frameworks including User Story Mapping. 

You will continuously work with the broader Data & Analytics teams acting as the primary point of escalation for the development team. From a product development perspective you will have to be able to answer any question and support the team.

This role is a mixture of customer obsession, best practice, and passion for technology and the digital world, balanced with the art of possible from a delivery perspective. Key Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and associated development priorities and plan for your product
  • Inspire and motivate the international development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Lead and facilitate short-term and long-range grooming sessions with the development team
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product
  • Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to define business requirements and associated epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Optimize the value of work the development team performs
  • Ensure that the development team understands items in the product backlog to the level needed
  • Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases

 Our must requirements

  • 3+ years of Agile Product Owner experience in IT
  • Business and Customer oriented mindset
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile Scrum process and principles
  • Experience in building a data platform and developing new data and analytics solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Data Science) or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Enjoys working with people (facilitating and collaborating)
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem solving skills
  • Able to balance user experience, marketing, technology, analytics and experimentation at all times.
  • Strong decision making ability and prioritization skills: managing changing and competing priorities and absorbing new information rapidly to address complex issues and commercial problems.
  • Can handle stress, deadlines and multitasking
  • Passion for results
  • Fluency in both Italian and English
