IT Governance Analyst

The Governance Analyst is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that IT initiatives and projects moves the company incrementally closer to its goals. For that purpose, he/she will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a Security and IT Governance Frameworks to guarantee the effectiveness of the IT processes inside an  Agile organization,  allowing the company to comply with the Security and IT requirements and best practices of the market.

Responsabilities

  • Develop, Implement and Monitor a Digital Governance framework composed by Policies, Procedures and Standards that allow us to constantly understand how the IT organization is functioning overall, the level of ROI and management needs.
  • Enhance and develop a set of metrics and processes to measure IT performance in line with Business expectations.
  • Responsible for building and influencing Security and IT Best Practices as a core competency throughout the organization and with our internal teams/partners/vendors.
  • Act as a liaison between business needs and IT capabilities by maintaining a close relationship with the main stakeholders from the businesses.
  • Focus on improving efficiencies, increasing internal customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the business objectives are reflected in the information security & IT objectives, policies, and activities.
  • Present key findings, progress and any potential issues to leadership, management and technical staff  on a regular basis and be responsible for influencing the stakeholders to prioritize/execute risk management activities and drive remediation efforts. 
  • Respond to relevant requests received from all stakeholders.
  • Manage the IT Audits coming from internal and external audit, supporting the IT Team to proactive be able to address the audit activity and managing the audit field and the audit response and action tracking.
  • Identify and manage all the IT risks by permanently executing risk management activities, whether these are Security or IT risks.
  • Manage and coordinate the Business Continuity Framework:
  • Define the annual plan of Business Continuity Activities;
  • Execute the Business Impact Analysis
  • Identify the BC scenarios
  • Define the BC recovery plan
  • Coordinate with IT teams the execution of DR test
  • Review and update the BC Plan

DESIDERABLE PROFILE (KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE)

Technical Knowledge (Tools)

 

Must to have

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • IT Governance Frameworks and Best practices
  • CISA, ITIL, COBIT or similar certifications
  • Good English level: B2
  • Flexibility
  • Strong communication skills
  • Can do attitude
  • Organizational skills

 

Nice to have

  • ISO 27001, ISO22301 or similar certifications
  • Italian language

 

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience and knowledge in similar positions
