Technical Leader

Business Support Area~IT

In this role you will be lead a team that is working on multiple projects including designing and implementing a platform to automate and bring consistency to building, training and deploying models for real-time production use-cases, and building algorithmic features. These projects support our goals of being industry leaders in Webapp, Cloud services, Machine Learning!

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting team members by enabling their personal development, teaching skills, and progressing their careers
  • Ensuring good technical practices are adopted and consistently applied by the teams
  • Driving the teams to innovate and deliver roadmap features with agility and high quality
  • Enabling ongoing improvements to our apps, tools, and processes
  • Defining and owning the technical roadmap to address scalability, maintainability and reliability of our applications landscape
  • Facilitating architectural and software design discussions
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders and internal customers
  • Collaborating with other technology teams, product owners, data scientists and support teams to effectively deliver the roadmap
  • Be the go-to person for your team and internal customers
  • Building and maintaining a network of key contacts across the company and use those contacts to achieve results

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion in leading people and teams, encouraging, motivating and guiding individuals
  • Significant technical experience building and shipping Java-based back-end systems
  • Large-scale cloud computing experience with an emphasis on AWS
  • Clear communications to a diverse range of audiences in person as well as in writing
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment while handling multiple priorities
  • Consistent track record of driving for standards and results in software design, development, incident management and maintenance
  • Strong ability to coach developers, helping them build their skillsets and progress their careers
  • Strong leadership skills including relationship building, organising, planning, conflict resolution, negotiation, and performance management
  • Proven experience in leading the IT teams of complex organization
  • Strong and proven knowledge of IT and digital technologies
  • Strong and proven knowledge of Agile and Devops methodology
  • Passion for new technologies as Cloud and Microservices, and new frontiers as Machine learning and IOT
  • Excellent troubleshooting & technical skills in IT environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact internally and externally
  • Ability to work under the pressure, tough deadlines and accuracy
  • Italian mother tongue and fluency in English language, spoken and written
